Manita Kaewsomnuk

(b. 1990, Bangkok, Thailand)

A visual artist working primarily in painting. Growing up in an artist family, she developed a deep passion for art from an early age and later earned her Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design from Silpakorn University, Thailand.

Manita’s practice is rooted in personal observation and introspection, exploring human sensations within social and cultural contexts. Her distinctive paintings often feature female figures as symbolic representations of emotional and existential states.

Since 2018, her works have been presented in solo and group exhibitions in Bangkok and Germany, including participation in the group exhibition at Thailand Biennale 2025 and a solo exhibition at Nachbarschaftszentrum Volksolidarität Berlin. She currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany.e continues to expand her artistic exploration and visual language.
