Nitanitar

This painting series is about street sex workers in Bangkok, Thailand. This hidden problem became my inspiration. As number of sex workers in public spaces has been increasing among of various age and gender in the ages, whereas it is forgotten by the rest of society.

         I conducted on fieldwork by collaborating with Issarachon Foundation. Then, I collected their stories and interpret different aspect of human universals through my own perspectives. Then, I developed this painting series, while I was in Artist-in-Residency program in Germany. My propose to talk about different aspects of lives and humanitarian reason, rather than portraying judge by cultural norm and society.
